'Joey in Conte No. 2'

I've been inspired to work in conte crayon lately, and this is the second product of that random inspiration. Drawn from a photograph taken a few years back in white, black, and sanguine conté crayon. Took me about 2 hours plus half an hour to fix up the scanned image (silly scanner isn't big enough). I don't like this one as much as the first one, but I'm satisfied. maybe I should have left the bridle off, but oh well. I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a series of these types of drawings. I'll Shanghai my parent's digital camera and take pictures of Joey being Joey this weekend while I'm home so I'll have more reference material.
