Last night I drew this koi because I wondered if I could do a Japanese stylized koi. Apparently I can. I will now attempt to ink this in Illustrator (which has a long-standing feud with me) and should, someday soon, have a color version to post.
Used a 703 Blue Kimberly pencil. Not sure why I used blue, but I like it.
Not for general use, thank you very much.

Vision Originality Technique ImpactNice! Just so you know, I am not this good, so this critique might be just a teensy bit biased... Like maybe 1/1,000th...
Vision: If I'm not mistaken, the theme here is "Koi Fish: Japanese Style". Well illustrated, and did you draw the notebook in or did you take a picture then submit? The watermarks in the background take away from part of the effect because at first I was trying to figure out what they said.
Originality: To tell you the truth, I have never seen anything of this kind with this much skill. (But then again, I am not so skilled myself...)
Technique: I only see minor sketch lines, and the lighter lines are drawn well, all staying the same shade.
Impact: Looking upon this amazing Koi Fish exploded my mind. I would give you <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt="

" title="Lightbulb"/> The only thing I would change would be the sketch lines that are left behind, so when you edit this (yes, I read the description) you should probably take those out. Also, you should definitely color this in.
